Welcome to the Valley webpage!

At Valley Horizon, we are committed to excellence. We take pride
in our clear goal of moving all students to grade level in reading. Additionally,
we are strongly committed to helping our students achieve all standards
in every curriculum area.

This focus on good, solid reading instruction helps us to positively impact student success in writing, math, social studies, and science. We are also proud of our special area classes, clubs, activities, and services available to our students.

As you enter our building, please note the environment that shows our dedication to learning, particularly in the area of reading. At Valley Horizon, we follow the rule of thumb that our surroundings should reflect our beliefs. From the classroom bulletin boards that display student work in the hallways to our literacy rich environments, you can clearly see our focus!
 
All Site Council meetings are held in the VH Library.
